We all know it can be unsettling for us humans to find ourselves in a strange environment surrounded by unfamiliar people. For cats and kittens, that feeling of anxiousness is amplified many times, as they are so very sensitive to sounds and smells which cause them high levels of stress and anxiety.

My very convenient service means that your cherished cats and kittens can stay in their own familiar home environment and routine, giving them the security and comfort they rightly deserve and ensuring their happiness whilst you are away. Whether it’s a long-awaited holiday, regular business trips, or perhaps even a stay in hospital, you can rest assured that your cat is receiving the best care and attention at home. Bookings can be for any period from one day upwards.

The health and welfare of cats in our care is always my primary concern. By choosing my service, you will enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that your cats will be looked after as if they were my own. Depending on their age and preferences, this could be laptime or playtime, or simply just spending some time in their company to ensure they are relaxed and content. I will arrange to meet you before you go so that you can introduce me to your cat, run through their routines, their favourite toys and their hiding places, and also collect a key, etc.

Whilst you’re away, if you wish to extend your break then all you need to do is simply text or email and I will be happy to make more visits. (Additional visits can be paid for after your return).

I live in Elworth, Sandbach in Cheshire and I have had cats in my life since I can remember.
My cat is called Luna (adopted from Cats Protection) she is shy around new people but will love you if you give her Lick-e-lix! 🐱
I worked for the NHS for nine years as a Pharmacy Technician at Leighton Hospital, where I gained valuable experience and knowledge of medications— knowledge that I can now put to great use for the benefit of your cats. After nine years in the NHS, I decided it was time for a change of vocation and wanted to find a career that combined two of my biggest passions: cats and meeting new people.
I’ve been passionate about cats for as long as I can remember and have never been without one in my life. I’m proudly the crazy cat lady — the sort of person who can be easily distracted by a cat! My husband, Dave has to put up with regular stops on our walks so I can say hello to any friendly cats we happen to meet. 🐱
With my caring nature, extensive medication knowledge and lifelong love of cats, I’m delighted to be able to combine my experience and passion to provide the best possible care for your furry friends. I am trustworthy, mature and reliable person who will treat your home with care and upmost professionalism. I hold a basic disclosure (police check) and public liability insurance.

Caring for Your Cats Like My Own!

I started my business because of the wonderful care my own cat, Luna, received from previous Home Loving Cats members. Luna is a very anxious cat who feels safest in her own home, and I couldn’t imagine putting her in a cattery environment. That’s when I discovered Home Loving Cats.

Being able to leave Luna in the comfort and security of her own home meant I could go away knowing she was relaxed, happy, and receiving the care and attention she needed. It gave me complete peace of mind.

When the opportunity arose to take over the service, I knew it was something I couldn’t pass up. It combined my love of cats with the chance to help other owners enjoy the same reassurance that I had experienced with Luna. Now I have the privilege of caring for cats every day—playing with them, getting to know their unique personalities, and ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. It really is my dream job.

My cat-sitting service means your cats can stay in the comfort of their own home. They can enjoy their familiar surroundings and usual routine, helping them feel safe and relaxed. It’s also a convenient option for you, as there’s no need to take your cats to a cattery or arrange transport.

Whether you’re heading off on a long-awaited holiday, travelling for work, or need to go away at short notice, I’m here to make sure your cat is well cared for while you’re away. They’ll stay in the comfort of their own home and receive the care, attention and love they deserve.

Your cat’s happiness and wellbeing will always be my priority. I’ll treat every cat in my care as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy and loved until you return.

Every cat is unique, so I tailor my visits to suit their individual personality and routine. Whether they enjoy curling up for a cuddle, playing with their favourite toys, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I‘ll make sure they receive the care, attention, and reassurance they need while you’re away.

If you have additional small pets (such as goldfish, guinea pigs or hamsters, for example), I am happy to assist with their care too.

Before your trip, I’ll arrange a complimentary meet-and-greet at your home. This gives you the opportunity to introduce me to your cat, talk me through their daily routine, favourite toys, feeding requirements, and medication (if needed). I’ll arrange a key handover in whatever way works best for you. I’m also happy to answer any questions, so you can go away knowing your cats and home are in safe hands.

While You’re Away, I Will… 🐾

You can relax knowing your cats and home are in caring, reliable hands. While you’re away, I will:

💊 Administer medication as required, including insulin injections.
🍽️ Provide fresh food and water, ensuring bowls are clean and refreshed daily.
🐾 Clean and replenish litter trays, keeping everything fresh and comfortable for your cats.
🏡 Keep an eye on your home, including collecting post, putting bins in and out, watering plants and checking the garden.
📱 Keep you updated with regular messages, photos and videos, so you can see what your kitties have been up to while you’re away.
🥰 Give your cats plenty of love and attention, including playtime, cuddles, fuss and brushing — whatever they enjoy most.
