My story so far…

Way back in 2012 I was one of the very first individuals to join Home Loving Cats.  At the time, my husband Grahame and I lived in Aylesbury where I built up my thriving cat sitting business - thanks in part to my very satisfied and regular customers who kept coming back with repeat bookings year after year.

My future in Durham…

Over the last year or so, Grahame and I decided that we would like to live the next phase of our lives in a different part of the UK and we opted for the lovely Durham area.  So Aylesbury’s loss will be Durham’s gain! – and I now look forward to introducing my service to the cat owners and cats in this lovely part of the north-east.

My feline family…

I currently have four cats, three pedigree British Shorthair and one domestic shorthair.  My British Shorthairs are Kubi aged 20, Barney aged 15, Fergie also aged 15 and last but not least my domestic shorthair Maisie aged 11.  Their daily antics never fail to make me laugh & smile!  If you are ready to offer that “forever” home to a cat or cats in need, then a list of cat rescue and adoption centres can be found by clicking the following:

Why My Durham Cat Sitting Service Benefits You and Your Cats

Cats and their owners absolutely love my service, because the fact is that cats simply don’t like leaving home.  To find out why, check out our article as follows;

Why Cats Hate Catteries

I take great pride in providing an excellent service to all my customers and their cats.  Every day is different with a wonderful mix of both regular and new customers.  Knowing that I can provide a cat sitting service that customers can rely on at all times is an amazing feeling, and gives me great job satisfaction.  Your cats are safe and happy in my care and I do everything I can to optimise their health and well-being.

A Little More About Me...

Over the last 10 years I have been very active as a steward at cat shows and so I have lots of experience handling all breeds of cat and with very different temperaments and personalities.

I have the greatest job in the world because as a cat sitter I get to care for lots of different cats, each with their own special character.  It gives me enormous pleasure ensuring that each and every cat I visit receives lots of cuddles, re-assurance and the best possible care.  I have lived with cats since the age of three, so cats have been my whole life. Consequently, I am very experienced in caring for cats and in recognising any potential problems at an early stage, and I am able to administer all types of medication if required including insulin injections to diabetic cats.
